Pricing: what UltraNOS costs

UltraNOS comes in three tiers. The Starter plan costs nothing and does not expire; Pro and Team cost €19 and €49 a month. Pay yearly and you pay ten months instead of twelve. This page gives every number the way the API returns it at /api/billing/plans — if this page said something different from the API, one of the two would be wrong.

The three plans

“No unit cap” means the plan sets no counted upper limit. Technical limits still exist — at most 16 jobs running at once, agent depth 2, eight terminals per account. These limits protect the server and apply to everyone.

What the free plan includes

The Starter plan is not a demo with the core switched off. Multi-agent chat, the Monaco editor, git, the real terminal and the agentic loop are all included. What is missing is volume: five sessions, three background tasks, 200 MB of storage. That is enough to work on one project seriously, but not to run a working day. That is the intent.

What the AI costs — the part many people overlook

UltraNOS does not sell the language model, but the workspace around it. For the models you have two routes:

1. Your own key. You store your Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible or Ollama access. Then you settle directly with the provider and UltraNOS only passes the requests through — and on this route the secret protection covers the most ground, because it also replaces tool results in every round. 2. Access provided by the operator. An access paid for by the operator, with a quota per account and calendar month. It is there to try the product, not to run agents day and night.

A model that works in a loop overnight can cost more than a monthly subscription brings in. That is why the quota is capped and your own key is the recommended route for anything beyond trying it out.

Paying, cancelling, withdrawing

Billing runs through Stripe. You can pay monthly or yearly; yearly equals ten monthly prices. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period — there is a dedicated cancellation path for that, as § 312k of the German Civil Code (BGB) requires for consumer contracts. Consumers also have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal; the details are in the withdrawal notice and the terms in the terms and conditions, both in German.

Self-hosting

Running it on your own infrastructure is possible, but it is not a self-service product: the repository is not public, and self-hosting happens on request. FAQ

Is the Starter plan really free?

Yes. It does not expire and does not ask for payment details. Sessions, background tasks and storage are limited, not the features of the core.

Do I need my own API key?

No, but it is the better route once you work regularly. With your own key you settle directly with the model provider and get the full coverage of the secret protection across all tool rounds.

What happens when I use up my quota?

Requests to the operator’s access are rejected until the calendar month changes. Your data, projects and sessions stay untouched, and with your own key you carry on immediately.

How does Pro differ from Team?

Pro raises the volumes and unlocks the pipeline, voice input, and build and download. Team removes the unit caps and opens the remote API with the MCP server, which lets other programs control UltraNOS remotely.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, through Stripe’s customer portal. You will also find all past payments there, and the cancel button.
