AGENTIC WEB IDE

UltraNOS — the agentic web IDE

Last updated: September 8, 2026

UltraNOS is a workspace, not a chat window that prints code blocks. Several AI agents work in your project at the same time, next to a Monaco editor, git and a real PTY terminal — all in the browser, against a workspace that lives on the server. Nothing to install, same session on every device. The server is in Nuremberg, Germany.

The interface is German by default and switches to English or French in the app. This page is the short English version; the German site has the full detail.

What you get

The part nobody else has

cloak detects API keys, credentials and email addresses and replaces them with placeholders before a request reaches the model provider. On the API paths a tool call gets the real value back at execution time, and every tool result is scrubbed again before the next round. If the layer is not ready, the request fails visibly instead of sending clear text.

It is pattern-based, so it is not complete, and on the CLI provider path only the prompt and system prompt are covered. Both limits are written out in the full write-up, together with how to verify the state yourself via GET /api/health.

Pricing

Starter is free and does not expire: 5 sessions, 3 background tasks, 200 MB, with the full core — chat, editor, git, terminal, agentic loop. Pro is 19 €/month (50 sessions, 20 tasks, 5 GB, plus pipeline, voice and build). Team is 49 €/month (no unit caps, remote API). Paying yearly costs ten months. Details on the pricing page. The full list of features is on the features page.

What UltraNOS is not

Not open source — the repository is private. Not a VS Code fork and not a desktop app; apart from the Android app, everything runs in the browser. Self-hosting is possible on request, not as self-service. And the model is not ours: UltraNOS builds the workspace around the provider you choose.

FAQ

Is the interface available in English?

Yes. The app ships German, English and French; the language switch is in the interface. Documentation and blog posts are mixed — the technical write-ups exist in both languages.

Where is my code stored?

In a workspace on a server in Nuremberg, Germany (Hetzner), separated per tenant, with storage quotas per plan. You can export your data, and you can run the whole thing on your own infrastructure on request.

Do I need my own API key?

No, but it is the better path once you work regularly: you settle directly with the model provider, and the redaction layer covers the most ground there — including tool results on every round.

Does it work offline?

No. A web IDE needs the network by definition; the workspace lives on the server. That is the trade for having no installer and the same session on every device.
